HR Generalist

Meador, an Openwork Company, is currently engaged in a search to find a Contract-to-HireHR Generalist for a company located in the Pasadena area. The position coordinates hiring activities from approved requisitions through new hire readiness, working closely with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, hiring managers, and candidates.

As the HR Generalist, you will:

• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting administration, including requisitions, job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, offer letters, and candidate/hiring manager communication.
• Support recruiting efforts by sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, conducting initial phone screens, coordinating interviews, and presenting qualified candidates.
• Manage pre-employment screening processes, including background checks, drug screens, and fitness-for-duty assessments, ensuring required authorizations and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding, including document collection, clearances, orientation, equipment, system access, and first-day readiness.
• Administer Form I-9 and E-Verify processes in accordance with federal requirements and established deadlines.
• Maintain accurate HRIS and confidential personnel records, process employee changes and separations, and ensure proper document retention and access controls.
• Provide HR support to employees and managers, prepare recurring HR reports, and assist with audits, projects, events, and process improvements.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years of HR experience
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred

Compensation and Perks:

• $32 - $35/hr
