Assists the Benefits Specialist in their absence with benefit administration for Firelands Health, which includes, but not limited to the following.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource or related field required, plus three (3) years of related experience required.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of workers' compensation, FMLA, and ADA laws. Experience in absence management and integrated disability management is strongly desired.
Excellent analytical, written and communication skills.
Proven ability to interact effectively with employees, physicians, hospital departments at all levels, state agencies, and external agencies. Must be comfortable presenting to large groups for training and education purposes.
Ability to perform in a work team environment.
Must have technical and/or PC skills sufficient to have working knowledge of multiple software programs, i.e. Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, UltiPro etc.
Must be capable of creating Power Point presentations, graphs, charts, and dashboard reports that accurately reflect leave usage.
Working knowledge of current human resources/workers' compensation laws, regulations, and guidelines (e.g. FMLA, OSHA, etc.)
Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operators license and be insurable under Firelands auto policy. Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request. Calm, flexible and able to handle a fast pace and extended hours.
