Position Detail:Under the general direction of the Human Resources Manager, perform all assigned HR and related tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
Perform duties including but not limited to processing weekly payroll for workforce, benefits, leaves, talent management, workers comp, onboarding, training as required.Track time, attendance and headcount reportingReviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.Participate and develop employee engagement activities that help build company cultureInteract with employees and answer questionsMaintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding for new employeesManage hiring process by sorting resumes, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and candidate communicationCoordinate temporary employee staffingUpdate HRIS as necessary and run required reportsPrepare and maintain badges and door entry databaseMaintain bulletin boardsComplete projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience required
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role required. A minimum of three to five years of experience is strongly preferred.
SHRM-CP a plusBi-Lingual in English and Spanish is a plusExcellent verbal and written communicationsDemonstrated computer skills to include HRIS and Microsoft OfficeAbility to prioritize tasksExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrated clerical skillsAccurate & dependablePrior experience working in an HR departmentAbility to lift 50 poundsOther physical demands: sitting, standing and walking; occasional bending/stooping; exposure to hot, cold, and dustMay require work during seasonal demands on alternate shift including evenings and weekends
