The HR Generalist is a broad-execution role within a deliberately flat HR department structure, in which every HR team member reports directly to the VP of HR with no intermediate management layer. This role does not manage other employees; instead, it delivers hands-on ownership across workforce planning, total rewards and compensation, leave administration, and recruitment strategy. Rather than developing one deep specialty, the HR Generalist operates competently and independently across multiple functional areas at once, shifting priorities as seasonal and organizational needs demand.
