Job Summary
This mid-level Human Resources (HR) Generalist will provide high level internal-customer service and HR support to leaders and team members across various HR functions, including talent management, performance management, engagement, employer branding, offboarding, and administration of HR policies. As proficiencies develop, there are opportunities to gain skills in partnership with the Compensation and Benefits team members.
Key Accountabilities
Partner with hiring managers in developing accurate job descriptions and selecting relevant job skills to assist with hiring process
Work with partners at all levels to develop employee communications, engagement initiatives and support retention efforts
Assist with administration of workforce planning, promotions, transfers, development assignments and organizational changes
Support department wide HR initiatives, communications, special projects
Prepare, compile, maintain, and analyze data for reports and special projects
Facilitate employee offboarding process and conduct exit interviews
Facilitate performance management activities, including Performance Improvement Plans and discipline administration
Ensure HR programs, policies and procedures are applied and interpreted consistently
Collaborate with HR management on ideas, solutions, and fixes for improving the effectiveness of HR processes, policies and programs
Perform tasks in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
May perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Human Resources, Public Administration or related field
3 years of job-related experience
