Responsibilities

  • Assists with developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

  • Completes the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.

  • Supports employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and resolving workplace issues in alignment with company policies and in partnership with management.

  • Assists with the administration of benefits programs, including enrollment and communication of plan changes.

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

  • Assists with the annual performance management processes.

  • Facilitates training and holds informational sessions.

  • Processes payroll changes and supports leave of absence administration.

  • Participates in various ad hoc HR projects and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and company culture.

  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and federal and local regulations to ensure HR compliance and efficiency.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor''s Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in similar HR role
  • Local travel to construction projects in Virginia
