Our firm is seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal to our organization as it will be responsible for managing a variety of human resources activities, including benefits and leave administration, across multiple states. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, a passion for people, and a strong technical background working in ADP. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Administer benefits and leave programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Communicate with employees regarding benefits offerings and use.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources roles, working for large companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Experience with benefits and leave administration across multiple states.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
