Position Title: HR Generalist
Location: Wayne, PA
Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $35–$40/hr
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
On-Site or Hybrid: Fully On-Site

An Addison Group client is looking for an HR Generalist!
Job Responsibilities:
- Run daily HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, and leave administration
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions in collaboration with department managers
- Conduct background checks and employment eligibility verifications
- Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
- Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training, and compliance
- Review, track, and document compliance with required training, certifications, and continuing education
- Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations
- Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees, applicants, and supervisors
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Maintain awareness of HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies
- Support performance evaluations and may oversee daily workflow of HR staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- 1+ year of human resources management experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred
- SHRM-CP certification a plus
