HR Initiatives Program Manager

The right person will be comfortable leading work from start to finish, building structure where needed, and working closely with HR partners and business leaders. This role is ideal for someone who can think like a project manager, partner like an HRBP, and execute like a strong operator.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and Project Management
  • Build, own, and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for assigned HR initiatives
  • Stay hands-on in the work and actively contribute to deliverables, not just track progress
  • Identify risks, remove blockers, and recommend solutions to keep work moving
  • Provide clear and timely status updates to HR leadership and key stakeholders
  • Maintain program documentation and help ensure work stays on track and on schedule
• Stakeholder Partnership
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Finance, and business leaders
  • Lead working sessions and coordination meetings that help drive decisions and move work forward
  • Translate business needs and HR priorities into clear action plans
  • Build strong relationships across a matrixed organization and adapt quickly to changing priorities
• HRBP and Talent Acquisition Support
  • Partner with HRBPs to understand business priorities, workforce needs, and hiring challenges
  • Support talent acquisition planning, hiring strategy, and recruiting process coordination
  • Build and refine job descriptions so they align with business needs and role expectations
  • Support the hiring process by working with TA and other partners as needed
  • Work with HR COEs and business teams to improve HR processes and recommend practical ways of working
  • Support program schedules, delivery plans, and resource planning
  • Help ensure HR initiatives stay aligned with business timelines, policies, and budget guidelines
  • Track program data and metrics and flag trends or issues that need attention

Must Have Requirements

• 7 or more years of progressive HR experience with a mix of HRBP, project management, and/or program management work
• Experience building job descriptions and supporting the hiring process
• Solid understanding of talent acquisition and the recruiting lifecycle
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to influence others and work across multiple teams without direct authority
• Must be flexible with schedule and available for early morning or late evening calls as needed
• Able to work well in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift

Technical Skills

• Comfortable using Excel
• Experience with Workday
