    Job Description

    ESC is a growing HR outsourcing & employment administration company, headquartered in Amherst, which administers payroll, benefits, and human resources consulting services for our clients. We are a people-centric organization with a focus on culture. We work smart and have fun in a team-oriented environment, working together to provide HR, payroll, benefits, and HRIS services to businesses of all sizes and types.

    We are seeking to add a part-time HR Intern who will provide support to the Human Resources Team. 

    Essential Functions:

    • Creates/edits client employment and benefit manuals.
    • Conducts research in support of strategic projects.
    • Support HRBPs with notetaking during investigations and employee relations conversations.
    • Help the HRBPs in gathering market salary information to design new compensation and benefits packages.
    • Assists HRBPs in the four HR pillars of Preventative Management, Ongoing Support, Compliance, and HR University.
    • Seminar development and resource support for HRBPs.
    • Performs administrative tasks as requested.
    • Special projects as assigned – the ability to gain exposure to all areas of HR, including payroll & benefits.
    • Performs other duties as requested.

     Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Current College junior/senior level pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field.
