HR Investigator

Position Description:

• Looking to hire an HR Investigator who can do the following tasks:
• Investigate workplace issues/complaints raised through internal company channels, including complaints of harassment, retaliation, and other violations of company policy.
• Ensure proper handling and disposition of cases involving salaried employees and union-represented employees.
• Prepare, track, and maintain appropriate investigation documentation.
• Manage employee data and statements in a highly confidential manner.
• Draft concise and clear investigation reports.
• Foster an effective, inclusive work environment/culture and relationships, balancing employee advocacy with stewardship of company goals and values.
• Provide support to salaried personnel, as appropriate
• Support all health and safety requirements of employees, as applicable

• Employee Relations, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Employee Engagement, Communications

• Labor Relations, Microsoft Excel

• 5 or more years of experience of conducting investigations, including interviewing and dispositioning, and overall case management
• 2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Working in a manufacturing and/or unionized environment

• Bachelor's Degree

• This is an Onsite position at the Chicago Assembly Plant.
• It is not hybrid or work-from-home.
