SES is seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Human Resources Professional to lead and elevate our HR functions. In this role, you will act as a vital strategic partner to all Corporate Departments, aligning HR initiatives with the company's overall business plan.
Under the direction of the VP of Growth Operations, you will oversee the communication, administration, and management of core HR programs-including employment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee services-while driving a culture of high performance and growth.
This is a 6 month contract role with potential to become long-term.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership: Fully execute and lead key HR initiatives that support SES's corporate vision; diagnose organizational challenges and implement effective action plans.
Talent & Performance Management: Partner with leadership to identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps. Develop and execute targeted programs to build a robust talent pipeline for future business success.
Employee Relations & Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership regarding company policies, values, compensation, and benefits, ensuring consistent policy interpretation.
Recruitment Partnership: Collaborate closely with the recruiting team to streamline hiring and onboarding processes.
Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor and ensure all company activities and policies are strictly compliant with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR experience with deep expertise across core HR pillars (employee relations, performance management, talent development, compensation, and benefits).
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent senior-level HR experience/certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
Technical Skills: ADP Workforce Now experience is strictly required; practical experience working alongside or supporting Payroll functions.
Business Acumen: Proven ability to understand business operations from both a high-level strategic perspective and a day-to-day tactical level.
Communication: Powerful and confident communication skills with a proven track record of effectively presenting to and influencing all levels of an organization.
