HR Manager

NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a confidential client to identify an experienced Human Resources Manager for its Fort Worth corporate office. This role will oversee key HR functions including payroll, benefits, HR operations, compliance, and employee support while also identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR leader who can operate independently, leverage data and technology, and proactively bring solutions to the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, HRIS processes, leave programs, compliance, and other day-to-day HR operations
• Evaluate existing HR processes and independently identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Utilize HR data, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve reporting, processes, and business decision-making
• Partner with leadership and employees on HR initiatives, employee support, compensation, benefits, and organizational needs
• Lead HR projects and process improvements with the ability to assess needs, develop solutions, and execute with minimal oversight

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, SHRM or PHR certification preferred
• 10+ years of HR, payroll, and/or benefits experience
• HRBP, HR Manager, Payroll Manager, or comparable leadership-level experience
• Experience utilizing data analytics and/or AI to improve HR processes, reporting, or decision-making
• Demonstrated ability to independently assess processes, identify improvements, and add value with minimal training; SHRM or PHR certification preferred
