Compensation: $83,000
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-5 pm

HR Manager – Position Overview
The HR Manager will oversee core human resources and personnel operations, ensuring strong leadership, consistent processes, and reliable support for the internal team. This role is responsible for bringing structure, improving accountability, and strengthening overall department performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Department & Team Leadership
- Guide the HR/personnel function by defining priorities, developing staff, enhancing accountability, and improving daily workflows.
- Provide coaching and direction to team members to elevate performance and contribution.
• Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Manage all phases of recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
- Work with leadership to determine staffing needs and ensure roles are filled efficiently with qualified candidates.
• Employee Lifecycle Oversight
- Direct onboarding and orientation processes while maintaining accuracy in personnel updates, documentation, and communications.
- Oversee offboarding procedures and ensure all transitions are handled thoroughly and professionally.
• Compliance & Policy Management
- Implement, reinforce, and refine HR policies and employment practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal requirements and applicable employment standards.
• Employee Relations & Department Coordination
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee and manager inquiries.
- Address personnel issues with professionalism and promote effective communication across departments such as operations, safety, and management.
• Systems Administration & Process Optimization
- Maintain HR systems, records, onboarding tools, and reporting mechanisms.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance transparency, and improve overall department efficiency.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Strong background in HR leadership, recruitment, employee relations, personnel administration, and compliance management.
CORE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to lead daily HR operations with confidence and strong managerial presence.
- Experience supervising staff and holding team members accountable.
- Proficiency in end‑to‑end recruiting processes (job postings, sourcing, interviews, offers, onboarding).
- Ability to maintain accurate personnel records with a high level of confidentiality and organization.
- Skilled in developing and administering HR policies and department procedures.
- Strong judgment and professionalism when handling employee relations issues.
- Knowledge of pre-employment processes, background checks, and role‑specific requirements.
- Ability to generate reports, track metrics, and leverage HR systems to drive improvements.
- Capable of leading special projects and supporting additional personnel initiatives as needed.
TRAVEL
- Some travel may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, onboarding, and employee records management.
- Oil and Gas OR Construction Industry experience required
