Job Description- Travel to multiple sites across California as needed - roughly 50% of the time.
- Promote and champion company culture and values across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to local leaders and employees by building strong partnerships and providing guidance on HR and company policies, procedures, and compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Contribute to the definition of regional HR goals and strategic decision-making. Recommend and implement new approaches, policies, and processes to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and enhanced service delivery.
- Deliver an exceptional employee experience by fostering a trusting, accessible HR presence. Engage regularly with employees in person across work locations and advise Business Unit leadership on people-related needs, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide timely performance feedback to Business Unit HR team members and lead or support annual performance appraisal processes using established talent management systems.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment efforts to ensure the effective and efficient sourcing, assessment, and selection of qualified candidates.
- Partner with department leaders and hiring managers to understand role requirements and business objectives, translating these insights into targeted sourcing and recruitment strategies.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including at least one (1) year of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong understanding of business operations and construction industry practices.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
- Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRMCP®), or other related professional certification, preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or construction-related industries, or within a large-scale organization of at least 1,000 employees
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability with a continuous improvement mindset and the confidence to challenge the status quo when appropriate.
What's on Offer- Base salary ranging from $150,000 - $180,000 dependent on experience.
- Discretionary bonus of ~$10,000 dependent on perfromance.
