The HR Manager is responsible for executing HR strategy and leading operations for our Radiometer site in New Brighton, Minnesota. This includes supporting the Site Lead and the local leadership team, driving and performing HR activities, with a strong focus on engagement, talent retention and development, performance management, employee relations and continuous improvement.

This position will have a solid reporting line to the Director, Human Resource – North American Operations of our sister company Beckman Coulter, Inc. located in Chaska, MN and with a dotted reporting line to Sr Director, HR Business Partnering for Global Operations in Radiometer located in Europe. Thanks to this matrix set-up, the HR Manager will benefit from having a larger exposure to HR best practices, standard work, and expertise in both OpCos. This is an onsite role in New Brighton, MN.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the site growth and stabilization initiatives through effective collaboration with talent acquisition and hiring managers; strengthen organizational capability and succession planning.
  • Maintain and implement HR policies, systems, and solutions aligned with Radiometer and Danaher standards incl. employee relations, talent development, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
  • Apply Danaher Business System (DBS) tools to identify opportunities for HR and business process improvement
  • Collaborate closely with Radiometer’s global HR and local Beckman Coulter’s teams to support broader initiatives and priorities

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing and operations environment with direct business partnering responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of US and MN labor laws
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot) and HRIS/payroll systems such as Workday and ADP

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
  • Experience with Lean Management tools
  • At least 1 year in an HR leadership role preferred

The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 to $160,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. 

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
