HR Manager / Senior HR Manager
Construction & Energy Infrastructure
Remote | $90,000–$120,000 + Medical, Dental, Vision & Unlimited PTO

Vikta Energy is an Authorized Tesla Energy Partner specializing in commercial solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), Tesla Superchargers, and DC Fast Charging projects across the United States.
As we continue expanding into new markets, we're looking for an experienced HR Manager / Senior HR Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations while helping build scalable people processes that support our rapidly growing field and corporate workforce.
This is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, partnering directly with executive leadership, and supporting both office employees and field operations in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
What You'll DoMulti-State HR Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, etc.).
- Maintain and update state-specific HR policies, employee handbooks, wage & hour compliance, meal/rest break policies, and overtime regulations.
- Manage Workers' Compensation claims from start to finish, including return-to-work coordination.
- Partner with field leadership to support OSHA compliance and employee safety initiatives.
HR Operations & Scaling
- Build scalable HR processes that support continued company growth.
- Oversee onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, personnel records, and HR documentation.
- Maintain HRIS accuracy and employee data integrity.
- Assist leadership with compensation structures, performance management, and incentive programs.
- Develop HR processes that support rapid hiring across multiple states.
Employee Relations
- Serve as the primary HR partner for managers, field leadership, and executive leadership.
- Conduct employee investigations and resolve workplace concerns professionally and objectively.
- Provide coaching and guidance on performance management and disciplinary matters.
- Help foster a culture centered around accountability, safety, professionalism, and employee retention.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Partner with hiring managers to forecast hiring needs.
- Support hiring efforts for both skilled field employees and corporate staff.
- Improve recruiting workflows and reduce time-to-fill for difficult positions.
- Assist with workforce planning as new projects and markets are added.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
- 2+ years in an HR leadership or management role
- Direct HR experience supporting construction, manufacturing, industrial, field services, EPC, renewable energy, logistics, or similar industries
- Proven experience supporting multi-state operations
- Strong knowledge of:
- Workers' Compensation
- OSHA & safety compliance
- Wage & hour laws
- Employee relations
- Performance management
- Multi-state employment compliance
- Experience supporting both hourly/non-exempt and salaried employees.
- Experience working in a rapidly growing organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience with modern HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience supporting remote teams and field employees.
- Background in renewable energy, electrical contracting, EPC construction, manufacturing, or industrial services.
