The Opportunity
We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Walker that are seeking skilled HR Managers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with manufacturing goals.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention for a diverse manufacturing workforce.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll processing.
- Lead performance management processes and talent development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for management.
- Champion a positive and productive work culture within the factory.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws and HR best practices relevant to manufacturing.
- Proven experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and their HR implications in a production environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with a specific HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Multilingual, particularly Spanish
