HR/Payroll Admin

Our client is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Admin to provide support. This role will be heavily focused on payroll processing, onboarding, HR administration, and employee support while helping transition HR functions back onsite.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong payroll experience who enjoys working directly with employees, hiring managers, and leadership in a collaborative academic environment.

Key Responsibilities for the HR/Payroll Admin

• 
  
• Process payroll for approximately 100 employees using ADP Workforce Now
• 
  
• Maintain employee records and HR data integrity
• 
  
• Support hiring, onboarding, and employment paperwork for student workers and staff
• 
  
• Create job descriptions and post positions within ADP
• 
  
• Coordinate background checks, onboarding documentation, and new hire processing
• 
  
• Serve as a resource for employee questions related to payroll and HR administration
• 
  
• Support HR reporting, compliance, and administrative functions
• 
  

Qualifications for the HR/Payroll Admin

Required:

• 
  
• Experience processing payroll in ADP Workforce Now
• 
  
• HR Generalist or HR Administration experience
• 
  
• Experience with onboarding and employment administration
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  

Preferred:

• 
  
• Nonprofit, university, or higher education experience
• 
  
• HRIS experience
•
