Description

The HR & Payroll Specialist will assist Human Resources/Payroll with duties to include new hire administration, payroll administration, benefit mailings, company functions, administration services, and all other duties as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* New hire entry into ADP WFN along with various other HR systems
* Process various employee payroll changes within ADP WFN (pay rate/job title/direct deposit, tax, transfers, terminations etc.)
* Complete weekly filing in ADP employee electronic personnel files
* Process changes in Saba Talentspace/Halogen including assigning new job descriptions, entering employees into 90-day review processes, assigning training, etc.
* Keep users in AwardCo system up to date to ensure managers receive recognition nomination approvals
* Receive returned mail (tax statements, benefit mailings, etc.) reach out to Site HR/employee for updated address and update ADP/resend
* Audit monthly Benefit Invoices before sending to AP for payment and work with providers to ensure accuracy
* Responsible for working with our external mailing service to send out required monthly benefit mailings
* *Work closely with ADP on our ACA Reporting to ensure accurate 1095C's are sent each year
* * Work closely with our COBRA Administrator HealthEquity/Wageworks and our benefit providers to ensure those that elect get enrolled
* Work with AP to ensure Wisely account is funded and monitored, as well as process approved reimbursements
* Work closely with vendor Daily Pay to resolve any issues that arise with employee pay
* Complete yearly EEOC/Veterans Reporting
* Keeps phone list up to date on SharePoint
* Backup to our Payroll Manager in various payroll related tasks up to/including processing payroll in their absence
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

*HR and/or Payroll Certificate preferred

* 1-2 years HR experience preferred

* 1-2 payroll processing experience (ADP) preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook

* Knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems, ADP WFN required

* Knowledge of ATS systems, Jobvite preferred
