HR & Payroll Specialist


Salary: $60,000 - $70,000


A stable and growing manufacturing organization is seeking an HR & Payroll Specialist to join its team. This position is ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys supporting employees, working with HR systems, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.


This role will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records, supporting benefits administration, and assisting with various HR initiatives and employee engagement activities. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and comfortable balancing payroll responsibilities with general HR support.


Key Responsibilities



  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time.

  • Generate and analyze payroll reports using ADP.

  • Prepare monthly and end-of-month reports for management.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees.

  • Administer employee benefits and assist employees with benefit-related questions.

  • Support compliance reporting and ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies.

  • Assist with HSA funding administration.

  • Prepare HR metrics and reports for leadership.

  • Support employee engagement programs, company events, training initiatives, and special HR projects.


Qualifications



  • 2+ years of payroll, HR, or related experience.

  • Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems strongly preferred.

  • Experience with HRIS and payroll software.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

  • Knowledge of payroll processing, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
