    Description

    This position is open to all applicants in Colorado and New Mexico.

    Abortion Care: At PPRM, we all work in abortion care. This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services.

    Ideal Candidate:

    You have experience in multiple HR functions for at least 4 years, including benefits administration and employee-life cycle. You have worked with HCMS/HRIS systems in the past and can navigate them proficiently. You have project management skills and have experience supervising others for at least 2 years. You have working knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations and filing and compliance requirements including FLSA, Workers Compensation, ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, and DOL requirements.  

    What You'll Do:

    You will lead a team to administer and execute HR operations, including benefits administration, employee life cycle, position control, and employee records. You drive HR process transparency and effectiveness, ensuring employee confidence, supervisor guidance, and regulatory and accreditation compliance. You collaborate across departments for improvements, change management, and experience. To do this you will: 

    • Ensure that the agency has the guidance and tools to navigate HR operations systems. Support supervisor and employee understanding through maintenance HR content on the intranet Hub, ensuring sufficient and up-to-date guidance on HR systems and operations. Oversee the Human Resource inbox, coordinating swift and accurate customer service and support. 
    • Maintain the HR SharePoint site, collaborating to ensure up-to-date files and links. Monitor for gaps in guidance. Create and support the preparation of guidance for employees and supervisors in all areas of HR support. Collaborate with the Marketing/Communications team in creating a polished product. 
    • Maintain employee-life cycle from onboarding documentation, life changes, Personnel Action changes, training documentation, and through to separation. Oversee the filing system, personnel profile, and maintain file integrity and access control. Oversee consistent and accurate audits on both quarterly and annual basis of personnel files for accreditation, benefits, credentialing, training tracking, etc.  
    • Oversee the daily benefits administration including retirement, insurance, workers compensation, and wellness programs, monitoring that these programs are meeting regulatory compliance and employees are supported in the use and understanding of their benefits. 
    • Maintain collaboration with the Accounting/Payroll team, ensure accurate data entry, and monitor the HRIS system to prioritize employees’ paychecks have the correct benefits, PTO accruals, and salary so that employees have confidence in their paychecks. 
    • Oversee the maintenance of HR systems, especially the HRIS/HCMS system, including system upgrades, identifying opportunities for optimization, and leading projects to customize the use of the system across the agency. Collaborate with Payroll and other teams as needed to implement changes, coordinate usage, and improve processes.  
    • Reviews benefit contracts for accuracy and monitors contracts to ensure compliance with negotiated terms and conditions. 
    • Maintain position control and job descriptions in coordination with the budget/initiative process and the recruitment team. Ensure FLSA compliance and review job description changes prior to implementation. 
    • Support the Director of Human Resources in the administration of the compensation program and salary transparency. 
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. 

                       Salary Range: $89,934.27 - $113,926.04/year
                      *Although our full pay range is included above, the budgeted hiring range for new hires is $89,934.27 - $101,930.15/year and based on related professional experience 

                      Schedule: Full-time; 40 hour/week; Benefits Eligible; Ideal candidates are able to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, evening, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
                       
                      Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm

                      COVID-19 Protocol: Vaccination against COVID-19 will no longer be a condition of employment. However, all Health Center/Patient or Community Facing Employees, must have the COVID vaccine or wear a mask at all times beginning November 1st. Proof must be uploaded upon hire. You will upload a picture or pdf of your vaccination card(s) prior to your start date. 

                      Flu Protocol: All employees working directly with patients, the community or working in a health center will be required to have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient/community contact or while in the health center from November 1 – April 30 each year (Flu Season). Proof must be uploaded upon hire. You will upload a picture or pdf of your vaccination card(s) prior to your start date.
