Title: HR Project Lead

Office Status: In-Office (2-3 days per week)

Pay Rate: $600

Contract Length: 6 12 months

A growing organization is seeking an experienced HR professional for a contract assignment supporting employee relations, performance management, HR reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role will partner with HR leadership and business stakeholders to improve people processes, support performance and employee relations activities, and turn workforce data into clear reporting and presentations. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing strategic HR projects with hands-on operational support and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support employee relations processes, helping address workplace concerns with discretion, consistency, and sound HR judgment.
• Partner with managers and HR leadership throughout performance management cycles, including feedback, goal setting, development planning, and performance calibration.
• Support performance rating processes and help ensure consistency and alignment across teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and operational practices.
• Lead or support HR projects from planning through implementation, tracking milestones, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Analyze HR and workforce data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to HR leadership.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc HR reports using advanced Excel skills and other reporting tools.
• Create polished PowerPoint presentations and executive-ready materials for HR leadership and key stakeholders.
• Maintain HR procedures, process documentation, and workflow materials.
• Support change management and implementation of new or improved HR programs and processes.
• Work cross-functionally with HR and business teams to coordinate initiatives and resolve operational issues.
• Handle sensitive employee and organizational information with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
