This role provides hands‑on HR support in employee onboarding, HR systems, recruiting and general support of the full employee lifecycle administration. This position requires strong attention to detail, customer service, sound judgment & strong collaboration.The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills and experience).Key ResponsibilitiesPerforms clerical & customer service functions for the HR & Recruiting department.Assists HR Generalists with new hire onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork, I‑9s completion.Processes new hire background checks & drug screens.Creating & maintain employee files.Pulls multiple HR reports on regular cadence.Maintains & updates EEO data spreadsheets.Performs verifications of employment.Process terminations & conducts exit interviews.Help maintain HR policy and employee handbook updates.Track candidates and hiring activity in ATS.Assists with recruitment by scheduling interviews & drafting offer letters.Performs other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/AbilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to function well in a high‑paced and at times stressful environment.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures is a plus.Familiarity with construction and/or union workforce is a plus.Education And ExperienceBachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.At least two-years related HR or Admin experience required.SHRM‑CP credential is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive pay with bonus opportunitiesMedical, prescription, dental & vision coverage with zero to low weekly premiums401(k) with discretionary company matchGenerous paid time off (vacation, sick time, and paid holidays)Disability income protectionLife insurance for employees and eligible dependentsOptional added protection with critical illness and accident plansCareer growth & development opportunitiesIn-house training programsCertificate & tuition reimbursementWellness programEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Hermanson Co., LLP is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
