Who We Are Looking For:

Are you the HR Representative (Part-time) we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our clients!

Rising Futures Young Parent Living Program (Formally known as the Teen Parenting Program) is a DCF and DTA funded residential program for teen parents who are pregnant and/or parenting. We provide apartment style living in a staff supported environment. The YPLP offers services including independent living and parenting skill groups, education and job search support, day care and medical referrals, housing search and aftercare support.

Schedule: Part-Time, 15 - 24 hours a week

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $19.00 to $33.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

What You’ll Do:

  • Coordinate the posting of open positions and support hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers in onboarding new staff, including preparing offer letters, providing orientation and enrolling new employees in JRI’s benefits.
  • Create and manage personnel files including coordination of audits.
  • Prepare and process Payroll Action Forms for all employees.
  • Ensure employees have accurate and updated benefits information and respond in a timely manner to all questions.
  • Provide support to the Division in accessing JRI’s human resource systems including UltiPro, UKG Recruiting and Onboarding, Company Mileage, etc.
  • Process applications and support employees and managers with Paid Family and Medical Leave, Long-term Disability, jury duty, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison to JRI’s corporate human resource department, ensuring the Division’s compliance with all human resource policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership to key human resource initiatives such as open enrollment.
  • Safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of employee information in accordance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to form relationships with a diverse employee population.
  • Prior human resources, office management and/or administrative experience.
  • Excellent computer skills using a variety of applications and programs along with the ability to quickly learn additional tools.
  • Experience and comfort working in a health and human service environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between sites.
