Job Summary
A Place Called Home is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented HR, Scheduling and Compliance Coordinator to support our growing team. This role is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, EVV management, staff scheduling and ensuring compliance with 245D requirements. The ideal candidate is an excellent problem-solver with strong verbal and written communication skills and a committed team player. 


Responsibilities 
  • Assist in the recruitment and hiring process
  • Onboard new employees
  • Create training materials and opportunities for understanding HR policies
  • Ensure staff files meet 245D compliance requirements
  • Educate employees on HR-related topics, including leaves and compensation
  • Assist in performance management tasks
  • Collect human resources data and provide summaries and reports to management
  • Track employee certifications and renewal deadlines
  • Create and manage staff schedule
  • Fill open shifts and manage call outs
  • Monitor EVV entries for accuracy and completion
  • Support day-to-day operations as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Previous experience as an HR Generalist or related position
  • In-depth knowledge of human resources policies and labor laws
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with 245D
