HR Specialist and Recruiter - Bilingual | Paterson, NJ | Home Care Experience Required

About the Opportunity

An expanding home care organization is seeking an HR Specialist / Recruiter to support caregiver recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and human resources functions.

This role is ideal for an individual who understands the home care industry and enjoys helping build a strong caregiver workforce while supporting day-to-day HR activities.

Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and possess prior home care experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruit caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and home care staff

• Conduct candidate screening and interviews

• Coordinate onboarding and new hire paperwork

• Maintain employee files and compliance records

• Assist with employee relations and retention efforts

• Support hiring events and recruitment initiatives

• Track recruiting metrics and hiring activity

• Partner with operations leadership on workforce planning

Qualifications

• Home care industry experience required

• Recruiting and/or human resources experience required

• Bilingual English/Spanish required

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
