    Description

CS Partners / Partner Solutions is hiring a full time HR Specialist.  This is an entry level position with a hybrid work schedule.

CS Partners works with over 40 charter schools across the state of Michigan. We thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment and support over 2,000 employees. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a positive attitude who is eager to work alongside company leadership to implement HR best practices and exceptional service for our clients.

If you are looking for a role that will challenge you, encourage your ideas, and provide a direct pathway to becoming a full HR Manager, CS Partners is looking for you!

As a HR Specialist, you will operate in a dynamic, dual-functioning capacity designed to prepare you for a full HR Manager role. You will gain hands-on, autonomous experience by executing HR Manager responsibilities for a dedicated portfolio of client accounts, while simultaneously providing high-level assistance across the HR Manager team on larger, more complex accounts.

    Key Responsibilities:

HRM Account Ownership (For Designated Clients):

    • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships with school leadership.
    • Lifecycle Management: Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
    • Client Consultation: Provide expert consultation to clients to implement HR best practices and mitigate legal/operational liability.
    • Service Implementation: Oversee the implementation of HR services to clients to ensure a superior employee experience.
    • Compliance & Policy: Ensure strict compliance with all Employee Handbook policies and labor laws.
    • Training & Development: Provide training on relevant HR topics to company leadership and employees to mitigate liability.
    • Data & Analytics: Provide insightful HR metrics and analysis to stakeholders to help drive decisions.
    • Assist the HR Manager team with large-scale client initiatives, complex employee relations issues, and peak-season HR workflows.
    • Help maintain organizational systems and documentation to ensure the entire department operates at peak efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • A foundational knowledge of HR principles (prior HR experience or relevant degree preferred).
    • Exceptional communication skills and a consultative, customer-service mindset.
    • A growth mindset—someone who is excited to master these responsibilities on a smaller scale and actively transition into a full HR Manager role.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field of study.
    • Superior verbal and written communication skills with a consultative mindset.
    • Current SHRM certification or a proactive commitment to obtaining it.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple moving parts.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships.
    • A passion for creative problem-solving and navigating personnel solutions.
    • Strong people skills and a dedication to promoting an exceptional work environment.
    • A desire to embrace and master modern HR technology systems.

    CS Partners Offers:

    • Competitive salary and benefits
    • 10% employer 401k contribution
    • 4 weeks of PTO and 3 weeks of paid holiday time off!
    • Hybrid work schedule
    • Extensive knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices
    • Mentorship and shadow-training from experienced HR managers
    • Transparent trajectory for career and compensation advancement
