Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Human Resources Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations and contribute to a positive employee experience. This role will play a key part in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support full-cycle recruitment, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring processes
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience for all employees
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Support employee relations efforts by addressing concerns and escalating issues as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies, procedures, and documentation
- Coordinate training sessions and support employee development initiatives
- Generate HR reports and provide data insights to support business decisions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in an HR role preferred
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
