Job Description
We are seeking a Compensation Analyst I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in compensation analytics, salary survey participation, and job evaluation and a proven ability to deliver accurate, timely transactional compensation actions and support data-driven compensation decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the administration and delivery of compensation programs.
- Support the annual global compensation salary survey process.
- Conduct job evaluations and market pricing.
- Respond to compensation inquiries from TA, HR, and business partners, meeting service levels and SLA requirements.
- Support salary increase proposals and promotions through data analysis.
- Assist with research and analysis of compensation and reward programs.
- Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations across applicable countries.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform compensation practices.
- Provide support in salary planning, merit planning, and incentive program administration.
- Approve job and compensation actions in Workday.
- Prepare compensation reports and analyses.
- Assist with compensation projects, processes, and audits as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Math, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in HR, Finance, or an analytical, data-focused role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and core formulas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Clear communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Workday, including running queries and manipulating data.
- Exposure to job analysis and job evaluation.
