About the Opportunity
An expanding home care organization is seeking an experienced HR Specialist / Recruiter to support multiple New Jersey office locations.
This is a hands-on HR and recruiting position focused on building and maintaining a strong caregiver workforce. The HR Specialist / Recruiter will work closely with local office leadership to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, retention, and other day-to-day HR needs across multiple locations.
Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have prior home care industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Recruit caregivers, CNAs, CHHAs, and other home care staff
- Support recruiting needs across multiple office locations
- Conduct candidate screening and interviews
- Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and new-hire paperwork
- Maintain employee files and required compliance documentation
- Assist with employee relations and caregiver retention
- Support hiring events and other recruitment initiatives
- Track recruiting activity, open positions, and hiring metrics
- Work closely with office leadership to identify and address staffing needs
- Assist with general HR administration and workforce planning
- Help ensure consistent HR and recruiting practices across locations
Qualifications
- Prior home care industry experience required
- Recruiting and/or human resources experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Experience recruiting and onboarding caregivers or home care employees
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organization, follow-up, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage recruiting and HR priorities for multiple locations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
- Ability to travel between assigned New Jersey offices as needed
