HR Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Torrey Pines, CA. This 100% onsite HR Specialist role supports a high-volume HR Shared Services environment within the aerospace and defense industry, with responsibility for accurate employee lifecycle transactions, HR case management, and HR data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

- Process high-volume employee lifecycle transactions in SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP, including hires, rehires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, organizational updates, and terminations.
- Manage and resolve approximately 30 to 40 HR cases per day through ServiceNow while maintaining complete and accurate case documentation.
- Review, validate, and reconcile employee data across ServiceNow, SuccessFactors, SAP, and related systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Perform pre-entry and post-entry quality checks on employee master data, position information, compensation details, effective dates, approvals, and supporting documentation.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, duplicate records, missing information, workflow issues, and transaction errors.
- Partner with HR Services, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, managers, and HR Centers of Excellence to support audits, compliance reviews, process improvements, and service-level expectations.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Contract duration: 6 to 12 months, with potential for conversion based on performance.
- Schedule: Day shift.
- Work arrangement: 100% onsite in Torrey Pines, CA.
