OneroRx is a privately-held company based in West Des Moines. We are now hiring for an HR Specialist full-time at our OneroRx Corporate office in West Des Moines.
Under regular supervision of the HR Manager, the HR Specialist supports the organization's core HR systems and processes, including HRIS administration, payroll processing, and license and credential tracking, while serving as a first point of contact for employee questions organization-wide.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer the HRIS, including configuration, security, data integrity, and integrations.
- Run payroll processing end-to-end each pay cycle.
- Own the license, DEA, and credential tracking in our HRIS, including expiration follow-through.
- Handle initial employee questions organization-wide.
- Support vendor and contract relationship discussions alongside the Director of HR and HR Managers.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including employee confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the HRIS and payroll systems.
- Ability to readily and positively adapt to changes in schedule, specifications, and work priorities as business needs demand.
- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR specialist role, including HRIS and payroll administration.
- Working knowledge of payroll processes and employment/licensing compliance requirements.
- Experience with administering HRIS platforms and payroll systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification is a plus.
This is an in-office position that will be located in our West Des Moines, IA Home Office.
