Franklin D Azar & Associates is respected, multi-location law firm is seeking a meticulous and resourceful HR Systems Coordinator to support its expanding Human Resources operations. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing HRIS functionality and ensuring seamless coordination of payroll and benefits across all office locations. Acting as a key liaison between HR, payroll, accounting, and external benefits providers, the HR Systems Coordinator plays an essential role in optimizing systems and delivering outstanding employee support. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in HRIS administration, payroll execution, and benefits management, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the HRIS (e.g., Paychex, Paylocity, Paycom, or equivalent), ensuring clean, up-to-date employee data.
- Process semi-monthly payroll cycles, including auditing time records and handling payroll corrections and adjustments.
- Coordinate benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes, and support employees during open enrollment.
- Liaise with benefit carriers and vendors to resolve issues and manage integrations.
- Audit payroll and benefit data for accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Manage compliance reporting (e.g., ACA, EEO-1, COBRA, 401(k)).
- Support system upgrades and process improvements for HRIS, payroll, and benefits tools.
- Provide timely and friendly support to employee questions related to pay, timekeeping, and benefits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of HRIS and payroll/benefits experience required.
- Familiarity with federal/state payroll regulations and benefit compliance (e.g., FMLA, COBRA, ACA).
- Proficient in Excel and HR data reporting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with mid-size company systems and vendor integrations preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HRIS system implementations or upgrades.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $60,000 -- $75,000
