ROLE AND PURPOSE:

  • To support the Human Resources function of AISD by providing customer service to internal/external clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
EXPERIENCE:
  • General office skills
  • Proficient typing, keyboarding, telephone and file maintenance skills
  • Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and word processing
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) including good telephone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
  • Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Provide exemplary customer service to all district employees on first level human resources issues
  • Complete verification of employment requests
  • Complete the on-boarding process during new hire orientations
  • Respond to incoming human resources email and the customer service queue
  • Process records requests, change of address requests, change of name requests
  • Work extensively with the TEAMS district program
  • Prepare reports and perform other related administrative duties as required and/or needed
  • All other duties as assigned by Director or Manager
