Job Summary
The Community Engagement Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the Center's public health and mental health community outreach and engagement initiatives. This position involves collaborating closely with community partners to achieve programmatic goals, coordinating projects, and providing administrative support. Additionally, the coordinator will contribute to health communication efforts and manage social media activities to enhance community engagement and awareness. This position also assists in the development and enhancement of community engagement programs and analyzes program needs to recommend improvements. The coordinator additionally supports the management of the Center's student internship and volunteer program, providing work-lead direction, training, and mentoring to interns and volunteers engaged in community outreach activities. #CA-SB

The mission of the Center for Reducing Health Disparities (CRHD or the Center) is to promote the health and well-being of diverse, underserved communities by addressing practices and policies in research and evaluation, workforce development, education, training, technical assistance and services, dissemination of research findings, and implementation of promising practices within a prevention, early intervention and treatment framework that recognizes the unique cultural and linguistic contexts of underserved populations.

UC Davis is a smoke and tobacco free campus effective January 1, 2014.
