Partnering with a fast-growing global technology company to hire a Senior HR Generalist / HR Business Partner to support the Americas region. This is a highly visible individual contributor role based in San Francisco, supporting approximately 50 employees across the U.S. and South America, while partnering closely with global HR leadership based in Europe.

Description

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for the San Francisco office and broader Americas employee population
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on employee relations, performance management, organizational structure, and talent development
  • Support day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, policy guidance, and HR administration
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiting teams to support hiring efforts, interview coordination, and recruitment processes
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide insights and recommendations around employee engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with global HR, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Operations teams based in Europe to ensure alignment across HR programs and processes
  • Support Learning & Development initiatives and help identify opportunities to strengthen employee capabilities and organizational effectiveness
  • Maintain HR systems and employee records utilizing tools such as HiBob HRIS and Greenhouse ATS
  • Assist with scaling HR processes and infrastructure in a high-growth environment while maintaining a strong employee experience
  • Support managers with coaching, performance conversations, and people-related challenges across distributed teams
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices across the Americas region

Profile

  • 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist and/or HR Business Partner experience within a startup or high-growth technology environment
  • Prior experience working as a standalone HR professional or sole HR point of contact for a region or office
  • Strong hands-on HR operational experience combined with strategic HRBP capabilities
  • Experience supporting global or distributed teams across multiple time zones preferred
  • Comfortable operating independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and HR operations
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional leadership teams
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse ATS and HiBob HRIS is highly preferred
  • Must be adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day execution
  • Startup experience within Series A-C environments strongly preferred
