Partnering with a fast-growing global technology company to hire a Senior HR Generalist / HR Business Partner to support the Americas region. This is a highly visible individual contributor role based in San Francisco, supporting approximately 50 employees across the U.S. and South America, while partnering closely with global HR leadership based in Europe.Client DetailsThe organization operates across APAC, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas, with teams located in San Francisco, New York, Brazil, Colombia, and El Salvador. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in scaling startup environments, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and can operate autonomously while partnering closely with senior stakeholdersDescription Serve as the primary HR partner for the San Francisco office and broader Americas employee populationAct as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on employee relations, performance management, organizational structure, and talent developmentSupport day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, policy guidance, and HR administrationPartner with hiring managers and recruiting teams to support hiring efforts, interview coordination, and recruitment processesConduct exit interviews and provide insights and recommendations around employee engagement and retentionCollaborate with global HR, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Operations teams based in Europe to ensure alignment across HR programs and processesSupport Learning & Development initiatives and help identify opportunities to strengthen employee capabilities and organizational effectivenessMaintain HR systems and employee records utilizing tools such as HiBob HRIS and Greenhouse ATSAssist with scaling HR processes and infrastructure in a high-growth environment while maintaining a strong employee experienceSupport managers with coaching, performance conversations, and people-related challenges across distributed teamsEnsure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices across the Americas region Profile 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist and/or HR Business Partner experience within a startup or high-growth technology environmentPrior experience working as a standalone HR professional or sole HR point of contact for a region or officeStrong hands-on HR operational experience combined with strategic HRBP capabilitiesExperience supporting global or distributed teams across multiple time zones preferredComfortable operating independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and HR operationsExperience partnering with senior stakeholders and cross-functional leadership teamsFamiliarity with Greenhouse ATS and HiBob HRIS is highly preferredMust be adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day executionStartup experience within Series A-C environments strongly preferred Job Offer Highly competitive rate of pay Fixed term contract for 6 months and then offered permanent Medical, dental and vision benefits provided from day 1Hybrid schedule requiring 4 days onsite in the San Francisco officeStandard working hours are approximately 9:00 AM - 6:00 PMCollaborative, fast-paced, and globally connected environment with significant exposure to international teams and leadershipBe apart of a growing start up and make an impact!
