Our client is currently seeking an HRIS Analyst to lead their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$68/hr - $75/hr Depending on experience

Position Overview:
The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing an organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accurate employee data, efficient HR processes, and reliable reporting. They serve as the primary liaison between HR, IT, payroll, and other business functions, leveraging technology to improve system functionality, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decision-making. The HRIS Analyst also ensures data integrity, system compliance, user support, and assists with system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing process improvements to enhance the employee experience and organizational efficiency.

Responsibilities of the HRIS Analyst:
  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the 403(b) and 457(b) retirement plans, including payroll coordination, contribution tracking, data reconciliation, vendor reporting, and monitoring IRS contribution limits.
  • Maintain and monitor HRIS benefits data to ensure accurate employee records.
  • Coordinate file integrations between HRIS, Payroll, benefit vendors, retirement providers, and third-party administrators.
  • Administer paid time off programs, including vacation, sick, personal, and other leave balances, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance with University policies and applicable regulations.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR and benefits data to identify trends, support business decisions, and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Process benefits-related payroll transactions, including deductions, benefit elections, contribution updates, and retirement plan changes.
Required Experience/Skills for the HRIS Analyst:
  • Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in an HR capacity, specifically HRIS.
  • Ability to create reports and analyze HR data using Excel and HR systems.
  • Ability to use and maintain HR software such as Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the HRIS Analyst:
  • Knowledge of retirement plan administration, payroll deductions, and benefits-related compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting retirement plan administration, benefits reporting, and data reconciliation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and payroll information with discretion.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
