The HRIS Analyst provides advanced expertise to enhance human capital management operations by maintaining and expanding the functionality of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM modules, BrassRing, Corner Stone and more. Working under consultative direction, this role supports internal customers—including the Human Resources group—by ensuring that HR systems are efficient, compliant, and scalable.

The Analyst serves as a key bridge between HR functional teams and IT, driving continuous improvement across recruiting, onboarding, core HR, payroll, and learning management systems.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on system expertise combined with strong analytical and communication capabilities to deliver optimized HR technology solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Configuration & Support:

+ Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, and Learning Management System (LMS).

+ Support and maintain SAP HCM modules (Time, Payroll) to ensure system stability, data integrity, and alignment with business requirements and compliance standards.

+ Manage role-based permissions and authorizations within the SuccessFactors Admin Center to ensure appropriate system access controls.

+ Monitor, evaluate, and implement quarterly SuccessFactors releases, coordinating release management and regression testing activities.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement:

+ Analyze HR business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and optimization across recruiting, onboarding, core HR, and workforce management.

+ Develop prototypes, functional specifications, and process flows using a variety of techniques such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, use cases, and business process mapping.

+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing existing processes and data, and staying current with SAP releases and HR technology trends.

+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards across all HR system processes, including data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

+ Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and IT teams to design solutions, integrations, and workflows that optimize HR operations.

+ Serve as a subject matter expert to internal customers, providing guidance on system capabilities, configuration options, and best practices.

+ Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including HR leadership.

+ Build and maintain strong working relationships with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), IT stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

Testing, Documentation & Training:

+ Lead testing and validation activities—including unit, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing—to ensure solutions meet user specifications and regulatory requirements.

+ Design, develop, and execute test cases to validate requirements; ensure requirements are testable and traceable throughout the project lifecycle.

+ Create comprehensive documentation and training materials to facilitate system understanding and adoption across HR teams.

+ Troubleshoot configuration and system issues; document defects and escalate as appropriate.

Integrations, Reporting & Analytics:

+ Support SuccessFactors–SAP HCM integrations, including data migration, reconciliation, and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of employee records.

+ Generate reports and dashboards using SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud, or equivalent tools to deliver actionable HR insights.

+ Collaborate with integration architects and vendors to maintain integrations with downstream systems such as time & attendance, payroll processors, and benefits carriers.

General:

+ Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending escalations as needed.

+ Observe all applicable laws, regulations, and Company obligations; maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures.

+ Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Success in This Role Looks Like:

+ Delivering accurate and timely HR transactions and reporting through optimized system configurations.

+ Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards across all HR processes.

+ Improving user experience and system adoption through clear documentation and effective training.

+ Driving process efficiencies that reduce cycle times and enhance HR service delivery.

+ Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to implement scalable HR technology solutions.
