Job Summary:
The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst provides analytical and functional support to the HR and payroll systems within the organization by defining and implementing best practice processes. This role participates in multiple phases of the HRIS project cycle and performs project administrative tasks as needed in collaboration with the HR Systems Support team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical and functional support for the HR and Payroll systems within the organization
- Help to define and implement best practice processes within the HRIS realm
- Perform functional configuration of the systems to include SAP, SuccessFactors, UKG, Workforce, and other HRIS platforms
- Participate in system implementation projects and post-implementation stabilization efforts
- Test system enhancement efforts in a detailed and timely manner
- Seek out new opportunities to improve the productivity and efficiency of the business processes through the HRIS technology
- Collaborate and support HR business users with receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving requests
- Assist with end user acceptance testing as needed
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user reference guides for solutions and system configuration troubleshooting
- Work through both in-person and virtual platforms to communicate and coordinate with team members and across departments
- Solve complex issues through root cause analysis and troubleshooting methodologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent training and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Human Resources position working with HRIS or Payroll system is required. Preference will be given to SuccessFactors/SAP.
- Previous experience working in a position that leveraged analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills regularly
- Strong understanding and familiarity with HRIS/Payroll business and functional processes
Additional Skills:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with others to facilitate discussions and develop solutions
- Ability to write reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals
- Experience creating effective presentations on controversial/complex topics to peers, employees, and management
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.

While performing job duties, the employee may occasionally need to stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as well as talk and hear. This role may occasionally require lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
