Job Description

The HRIS Business Analyst – Level 2 supports the effective delivery and continuous improvement of the organization's HR technology solutions. This role serves as a key resource in ensuring HR systems are aligned with business objectives, operational requirements, and compliance standards across U.S. and Canadian operations. Working closely with internal partners and external vendors, the position helps maintain reliable, user-focused HR technology solutions while supporting the evolution of system capabilities and processes. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills, along with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 
 

  • Assist with the configuration, administration, and ongoing maintenance of the HRIS platform for U.S. and Canadian operations.  
  • Manage relationships with outsourced vendors to ensure system usability, availability, regulatory compliance, and service-level expectations are met.  
  • Configure and manage systems, including defining and modifying business processes, conducting unit and functional testing, and coordinating updates and maintenance releases.  
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize HRIS functionality by resolving system issues, maintaining data integrity and security, and driving continuous process and system improvements to enhance operational efficiency and user experience 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide HRIS consulting support, while collaborating with external vendors to deliver effective solutions.  
  • Ensure HR systems effectively support organizational objectives and meet evolving business needs.  
  • Provide support and administration for SAP SuccessFactors modules, including Learning Management System (LMS), Performance & Goal Management (PMGM), SAP Jam, and security administration for Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP). 

Skills/Qualifications

Required 

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience configuring and administering business systems or HRIS platforms 
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience gathering business requirements and developing and executing detailed test plans 
  • Strong analytical, consulting, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions and recommendations 
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to coordinate release schedules, manage priorities, and drive projects to successful completion 
  • Experience working with system interfaces, integrations, and data feeds 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel 

  

Preferred 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field 
  • Experience administering SAP SuccessFactors or another cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) solution 
  • Experience troubleshooting, supporting, and enhancing integrations between HR, ERP, and document management systems, including technologies such as Boomi and CMIS 
  • Knowledge of HR systems, processes, and data management best practices
