HRIS Specialist - HR Generalist

Key Responsibilities

HRIS Specialist (60%)

• Analyze current HRIS configurations and recommend and implement improvements for efficiencies and utilization.
• Support HR and Operations reporting requests.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to the HR and Operations teams on HRIS design, related processes, and projects.
• Participate in ongoing training on all HRIS modules and remain current on feature enhancements, updates and steps needed to fully utilize them.
• Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications.
• Develop and deliver end user training and guides for supervisors and managers who regularly interact with the HRIS.
• Support HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, learning and timekeeping through HRIS workflows and configuration management.

HR Generalist (40%)

• Assist in maintaining and updating employee records including electronic filing..
• Cross train in all HR functions to act as a back up for HR managers when they are out of office.
• Assist in coordinating and delivering communication to employees.
• Assist with HR and Payroll compliance tasks including required notices, policy acknowledgments and audits.
• Additional HR duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Education

• Degree in Human Resources, or IT or equivalent experience and certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of HRIS experience, preferably with UKG. 
• Working knowledge of HR policy and procedures with the ability to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs.
