    Pay Range: Targeted annual salary $60,400, depending on experience.

    Benefits Eligible: Yes

    Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Travel: May be required

    Position Introduction:

    As Oklahoma's flagship academic health center, the University of Oklahoma Health Campus integrates world-class research, education, and patient care. Within this environment, the Office of Human Research Participant Protection (HRPP), fully accredited by AAHRPP, ensures that research involving human participants meets the highest standards of ethics, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, with a strong commitment to protecting the rights and welfare of research participants. We are seeking a Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator to support this mission by monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of HRPP and Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes and oversight activities, and conducting post-approval monitoring of research studies. This role plays a key part in strengthening oversight, identifying opportunities for improvement, and promoting consistent and compliant research practices in alignment with federal regulations and institutional policies.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 2 years of IRB administration, research administration, clinical research experience, or related field

    Equivalency/Substitution: Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree. A one-to-one ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.  

    Required Certifications and Licenses:

    Successful completion of the IRB Professional Certification required after two years.
