You will provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by using best-practice web programming techniques to configure robust client solutions, utilizing the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will operate independently while actively mentoring and supporting other Technical Consultants. You will serve as a trusted advisor across multiple products and processes, take a strategic role in product implementations, and consistently align your work with the broader project vision to drive meaningful, value-based outcomes for clients.What is the role?Deliver high-quality consulting services to install, configure, and integrate software products from ServiceNowDevelop custom software solutions as required through scripting and software developmentPrepare technical documentation as specified in customer contracts and as internally requiredProvide value-based assessments and workshops to help the customer maximize business results from ServiceNow softwareWrite/create custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACL's, data policies, UI scriptsTroubleshoot basic configuration/script issuesAttend requirements review and validation sessions as requiredParticipate in scrum ceremoniesDeliver measurable results within the appropriate timeline resulting in positive customer feedbackPerform code review of peers as neededWork independently and actively support other Technical Consultants as mentor and team leadLead sessions in implementation practicesWhat experience do you need for success?2+ years delivering technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform1+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically with the implementation of ITSM, CSM, FSM, or OMT solutions for telecom customers1+ year(s) in a consulting role, delivering software implementations preferableVery strong working expertise with configuration and customization of solutions in one (1) or more of the following specializations: CSM, FSM, Telco3rd Party Integrations Development (REST, SOAP, MID Servers, or other additional products)Expertise with JavaScript and ServiceNow JavaScript API'sWorking proficiency in the following skills are encouraged:Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledgePractical knowledge or experience with Operating Systems (Linux, Windows)Thorough knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, portsKnowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologiesExperience with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, and Shell lStrong consultative skills with software service delivery to lead customers in improving their processes and organizational modelsStrong knowledge in ITIL foundations with the ability to relate concepts to implementation strategies is requiredThorough working knowledge in IT Operations Management or IT Service Management is criticalWhat will you bring with you?ServiceNow Certified System AdministratorServiceNow Certified Application Developer(1) ServiceNow Mainline Implementation Certification (ITSM, CSM) requiredITIL v3 or v4 Certification preferredMaintain active government security clearance if applicableThe starting pay range for this role is $130,000.00 - $170,000.00.
