Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coaching Position
Prescott School District has their Assistant Varsity Wrestling coaching position open. Experience working with student athletes and wrestling is preferred. Qualified applicants must have the ability to motivate student athletes and the ability to work cooperatively with administrators, other coaches, parents and student athletes. The coach will be able to teach the technical and tactical aspects of wrestling as well as help build the capacity of being a student and an athlete.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working positively with our head coach, supporting/implementing their vision and collaborating with our entire wrestling program and the entire coaching staff in all aspects
Assisting in organizing and facilitating practices and meets, while maximizing and maintaining health & safety
Effectively communicate with parents, participants and fellow coaches
Ability to plan and execute skills and training programs specific for the level of athlete
Prepare student-athletes for competition in a safe and healthy environment
Help oversee the daily maintenance and cleaning of the wrestling room and repair of equipment
Have appropriate ethical behavior and instill those behaviors in our athletes
Maintain a positive working relationship with the youth and MS wrestling programs
