Position Details

We are seeking a dedicated Cross Country Coach to lead our team on a journey of growth, competition, and excellence. If you have the energy to motivate runners of all levels and the expertise to craft a winning training program, join us in building a legacy of achievement - on race at a time!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Cross country, track, distance running, or related coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of conditioning, race preparation, and injury prevention.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Completion of all MHSAA and district coaching requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop annual training plans, practice schedules, and meet preparation plans.
• Teach proper running mechanics, conditioning, pacing, race strategy, recovery, and injury prevention.
• Coordinate meet entries, transportation needs, and communication with Athletic Director
• Maintain proper supervision during practices, meets, travel, and team activities
