Ithaca High School is seeking to hire a highly qualified, collaborative, high school math instructor. Classes include Algebra I, II Geometry, and AP. The ideal candidate will have the ability to relate to high school students, build quality relationships with students, staff, and the community, and welcome the opportunity to be part of a team-orientated teaching staff. Additional coaching and advisory positions may also be available.
Incorporate differentiated instructional strategies into lesson planning and lesson delivery
Develop and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Utilize evidence-based best practices
Use assessments to plan, monitor, and assess student understanding
Collaborate with other professionals
Experience and/or understanding of RTI
