HSE Engineer

About the position

Job Purpose

To ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant manufacturing workplace by implementing KA HSE systems & KA minimum HSE requirement, supporting production operations, meeting statutory requirements, and driving continuous improvement in safety culture within an automotive plant environment.

Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental / Industrial).

Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred.

ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Internal Auditor certification must.

4-8 years of EHS experience in automotive / Tier-1 / manufacturing plant.

Hands-on exposure to shop-floor safety, statutory compliance, and OEM audits.

Strong knowledge of Indian EHS laws and Factory Act.

Practical understanding of manufacturing processes.

Incident investigation & root cause analysis (5 Why / Fishbone).

Good communication and training skills.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Production, Maintenance, Quality, HR & Admin).

MS Office proficiency.
