What You’ll Do:

As an HSE Field Specialist, you’ll be the frontline champion of health, safety, and environmental protocols across the job site. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor, enforce, and promote safe work practices, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company safety policies. You will collaborate with site personnel to identify hazards, conduct safety inspections, and provide training to foster a culture of safety excellence.
 

Required Skills:

• English/Spanish bilingual fluency is required
• Proven experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) roles within industrial or construction projects
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant safety regulations
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze safety issues and recommend corrective actions
• Proficiency in safety documentation and reporting

Nice to Have Skills:
 

• Certification such as OSHA 30-Hour or higher
• BCSP Certification strongly preferred
• Experience working in remote or field-based environments
• Knowledge of hazardous materials management

Preferred Education and Experience:
 

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in safety supervision or HSE compliance in a construction or industrial setting

Other Requirements:
 

• Must work a minimum of 60 hours per week to qualify for per diem
• Schedule: Monday through Saturday, with shifts totaling approximately 60 hours
• Duration: 12 months
• Per diem: $110/day, with eligibility contingent on work schedule and call-off timings
• Must be willing to work in Childress, TX, and adhere to all safety protocols
